The P3O® (Portfolio, Program, and Project Offices) Foundation course, developed by AXELOS, provides 

participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to establish, manage, and optimize support 

structures for portfolio, program, and project management. The course introduces the P3O® model and 

explains how it aligns business strategy with project delivery through effective governance, decision￾making support, and centralized control. This foundational course equips professionals with the 

terminology, principles, and practices needed to contribute to or lead the development of a P3O® model 

within their organization. It serves as a steppingstone to the P3O® Practitioner level and supports 

successful implementation of PMOs, CoEs, or other support functions across all sectors.
