Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP)

The Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP)® course is a comprehensive program developed to 

prepare professionals for effective project planning, scheduling, and control based on international best 

practices. Aligned with the AACE International’s PSP® certification, the course covers core topics such as 

planning development, schedule maintenance, critical path method (CPM), resource allocation, earned 

value management, and delay analysis. Participants will gain hands-on experience through practical case 

studies, exercises, and real-world scenarios, enabling them to build, analyze, and manage complex 

project schedules confidently.

• Understand the principles and best practices of planning and scheduling within the project lifecycle

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM)

• Analyze and control schedule performance, including baseline comparison and variance analysis

• Apply resource loading and leveling techniques to optimize project execution

• Use Earned Value Management (EVM) and forecasting techniques to measure schedule progress

• Identify and assess delays, and understand schedule risk and recovery techniques

• Prepare for the PSP® certification exam, covering AACE’s four key domains
